The Dennis Frayne Ascent
The Dennis Frayne Ascent is a lifelong music achievement and recognition program for students of every age and ability. Students participate through teachers who are members of The Dennis Frayne Association for Music Education and who are certified in, or actively pursuing certification in, The Dennis Frayne Approach to Music Education.
As students progress through The Ascent, they complete meaningful demonstrations of comprehensive musicianship and earn recognition at every level. Each award includes a printed certificate and a physical award appropriate to the level, including pins, buttons, wristbands, ribbons, medals, medallions, plaques, and trophies.
All eight tiers and all fifty levels of The Dennis Frayne Ascent are available. Through each step of the journey, students are challenged, encouraged, and celebrated as they continue growing in confidence, skill, understanding, and joy.
