Teacher Directory
The Dennis Frayne Association for Music Education Teacher Directory helps students, families, schools, and organizations connect with music teachers who have completed the Association requirements for Endorsed Teacher or Teacher of Teachers status and who remain active participants in the Association.
As the Association grows, the directory will expand to include additional qualified teachers across the United States. Each listing includes information provided directly by the teacher, such as location, teaching specialties, instruments, age groups served, contact information, website, and other details that can help prospective students, families, schools, and organizations determine whether a teacher may be a good fit for their needs and educational goals.

Who Is Included in the Directory?
The Teacher Directory includes Endorsed Teachers and Teachers of Teachers who maintain active membership and continue to meet the applicable Association requirements.
An Endorsed Teacher is a certified Teacher Member who has completed the additional requirements for Endorsed Teacher status. This designation recognizes completion of the Association’s required preparation for endorsement and continued participation in the Dennis Frayne Association for Music Education.
A Teacher of Teachers is an experienced educator who has completed the Association requirements for this advanced membership level and is prepared to contribute through mentoring, leadership, teacher development, and related professional responsibilities. Teachers of Teachers are also eligible for inclusion in the directory.
Teacher Members who have not yet qualified for Endorsed Teacher or Teacher of Teachers status are not included in the directory. Teachers whose Association membership or applicable advanced status is no longer active are likewise not listed.
Inclusion in the directory identifies teachers who have met the Association requirements for the professional designation shown in their listing. The directory does not guarantee that a particular teacher will be the right fit for every student, family, school, or organization. Prospective students and families should consider their own goals, needs, location, teaching preferences, and other relevant factors when choosing a teacher.
Association certification, endorsement, and other professional designations are issued by the Dennis Frayne Association for Music Education. They do not confer or replace a state teaching license, credential, degree, or other authorization that may be required by a school, employer, government agency, or other governing body.
Finding a Teacher
Prospective students, families, schools, and organizations may review the available teacher listings and contact teachers directly using the website, email address, telephone number, or other contact information provided in each listing.
The Dennis Frayne Association for Music Education does not schedule lessons, set tuition, manage enrollment, or administer individual teaching studios. Questions about availability, scheduling, tuition, lesson formats, enrollment, and other teaching arrangements should be directed to the individual teacher.
Teacher Listings
Teachers are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information provided in their directory listings. Endorsed Teachers and Teachers of Teachers may submit updated biographies, teaching specialties, contact information, websites, photographs, or other listing details to the Association as needed.
The Association may also update or remove listings when a teacher’s membership status, professional designation, or eligibility for directory inclusion changes.
As the Directory Grows
The Teacher Directory will expand as additional Teacher Members complete certification, meet the requirements for Endorsed Teacher or Teacher of Teachers status, and choose to maintain those advanced professional designations within the Association.
The purpose of the directory is to make those professional designations visible and useful by helping students, families, schools, and organizations identify music educators who have completed substantial Association preparation and remain actively engaged in continued professional development.
