Teacher Directory
The Dennis Frayne Association for Music Education Teacher Directory helps students, families, schools, and organizations connect with music teachers who have demonstrated both professional competence and an ongoing commitment to continued growth through the Association. As the Association grows, this directory will become a nationwide resource for locating music educators who teach according to the principles of the Dennis Frayne Approach to Music Education and have completed Association certification and endorsement requirements.
Each listing will include information provided directly by the teacher, such as location, teaching specialties, instruments, age groups served, contact information, website, and other details that help prospective students and families determine whether a teacher may be a good fit for their educational goals.
Who Is Included?
The Teacher Directory will include Endorsed Teachers and Teachers of Teachers.
An Endorsed Teacher is a certified teacher who continues to participate actively in the Dennis Frayne Association for Music Education through ongoing membership and professional development. Inclusion in the directory signifies that the Association confidently recommends that teacher as someone who has demonstrated both educational preparation and an ongoing commitment to professional excellence.
A Teacher of Teachers has completed additional preparation and serves as a leader, mentor, and teacher educator within the Association. Teachers of Teachers are also included in the directory.
The directory does not include Association Teacher Members who have not yet started certification, teachers who are actively pursuing certification, or teachers whose Association membership is no longer active.
Association certification and endorsement are professional designations of the Dennis Frayne Association for Music Education and are separate from any governmental teaching license or credential.
Finding a Teacher
When the directory becomes available, prospective students, families, schools, and organizations will be able to browse teacher listings and contact teachers directly using each teacher's preferred website, email address, telephone number, or other contact method.
The Dennis Frayne Association does not schedule lessons or manage individual teaching studios. All inquiries, scheduling, tuition, and enrollment arrangements are handled directly between prospective students and the individual teacher.
Teacher Listings
Teachers are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their own directory information. If an Endorsed Teacher or Teacher of Teachers wishes to update a biography, teaching specialties, contact information, website, photographs, or other listing details, they may submit updated information to the Association, and the directory will be revised accordingly.
Coming Soon
The Teacher Directory will begin to grow as teachers complete certification, become Endorsed Teachers, and continue their professional journey within the Association. Our vision is to build a trusted community of exceptional music educators who are committed not only to helping students become lifelong musicians, but also to continually growing as teachers themselves.
